Hatton (1786-1870). They had four children
including Joshua (1823-1885). This page was

emigrated to Virginia. We no longer believe this

Joshua who lived in Virginia married Catherine Thomas (1830-1880) who was born in Nelson County, Virginia. Joshua and Catherine had a son, Joshua Marron Carroll. He was born in Nelson County on 12 September 1864 and died on 27 June 1938 in Leslie, Greenbier County, West Virginia. In 1883 he married Emma Frances Robertson of Marion, Virginia. She was born in 1861 and died in Nelson County in 1896. In 1899 Joshua married Nanni Vanderslice who was born in Warminster, Virginia in 1881 and died in Leslie, Greenbier County on 4 September 1951. They had a son Wilbur Vanderslice Carroll born on 10 October 1911 and died on 8 August 1982 in Lanham, MD. Wilbur married Beulah Margaret Kincaid (1913-2000) and they had three children - Pearl Vernon b. 1941; Barbara Louise b. 1935; and Brenda Kay b.1947. Pearl Vernon was born in Hines West Virginia on 20 August 1940 and died on 7 January 2005 in Richmond, VA. He married Janet Ruth Beachy (1937-1991). They had four children Sue Ellen b. 1964; Vernon Dean b.1968 ; Jill Lynn b.1972; and Stacey Leigh b.1983.
